Hey, I can't remember my password for blogspot so I am having to post this photo twice. Check this tomorrow for photo's from tonight. We are at my sisters 10 year high school reunion and it is rad! We danced the night away and now we are in the A groups hotel room. The cool kids we were never invited to hang with in school. We finally made it! Grant is sitting beside me telling me how cool it is to blog at a party. I will write all later, so check back. We are loving it. Some rumor has started that Heather is a lesbian, not that anythings wrong with that, and her dancing with me all night didn't help. So signing off for now. The night is just beginning.

I am in Tulsa till August 8th so I should have more time. Max and I have been hanging out this weekend and having a blast. Isn't he the cutest. He has the most amazing personality. So we ahve been swimming two days in a row in what feels like 100 degrees heat. Beautiful sunshine. My tan is getting established I am taking slow and wearing loads of sunscreen no burning then tanning for me. I have seen the affects of the sun too many times to be that careless. Yikes! Besides it hurts. Ouch! So my family are well. My sister and her Husband decided to go out of town the first weekend I am here, but I forgive them because i get max all too myself. Yippeeee.

The England bombings happened the day I flew. So far everyone I know is OK, but I am so pissed off that this has happened. The city, from what I have heard, is back to normal so I guess that is a good thing.

Will post again soon. Please keep checking back.

Peace & Love,
Missy

House Drama

Went to view another house today in the same area as the one we didn't get. It was cool, but not as cool as out dream home. We have a chance of getting that house if we offer more money. Money, money, money. I won't bore you with that now. I will give you some entertainment. Check this out. Johnny sent this to me and I love it. When I need to laugh I watch it. Actually I think the guy is a good dancer. Maybe I should steal some of his moves. I watched Garden State last night and fell in love with it. the soundtrack is amazing. Heather gave me the soundtrack and said I should watch the movie it just took me a little while to get to it. Not much else going on here. Ian is in America and Canada till Sunday. Oh I saw Star Wars on firday. Wow. Britt, have you seen it yet? I loved it. Peace be with you. Miz

But wait

Then I had an idea. I will write a letter to the owner letting him know how much we love it and if anything goes wrong with the current buyers we are still here ready to buy. Maybe that will work. Apparently 25% of all house sales fall through. So fingers crossed something might go wrong.

Noooooo!

Then I was upset. I felt sick to my stomach. How could we lose our dream home? I really liked this house and I can't imagine another one as nice in our price range.

When we put in the offer on the house I was really excited. Even though in my gut I knew we probably would not get it.

Pink Porsche

PInk Porsche
Originally uploaded by Mizzie.
Searching for Madonna's house yesterday, Sarah and I came across the car of our dreams. A pink porsche! How cool is that. It is not actually a very good photo, but you get the idea. We think we found her house, well not really, but we have it narrowed down to a street. Next time we will check with Hutch before we go out because his brother in law was almost her butler. I am hoping to see her and the kids riding their bikes. This makes me sound like I am stalking her, but I am not it just kind of fun for a girl from Tulsa to think she hangs out near Madonna's house and might see her riding around. Oh PS Ian and I put in an offer on a house today. We will know tomorrow if we get it or not.

These are the American Girls I hang out with in London. From left to right. Me (not my best picture), Sarah, Karla, and Ari. We all met at St. Mary's Church and have been trying to hang out once a week. The first night we hung out we watched SNL. Yes! And this time we went to Selfridges and checked out all the American food items they stock. I found a box of regular Cheerio's for £7.99. I was shocked! That is about $14.00. Woe. Karla bought a pack of Reese's Peanut Butter cups for .70 pence. that is about $1.40. Sarah and I have decided we are going to start a TV show. I can't tell you what it is about, you will have to wait and see. So check back to see how the American Girls in London are doing.

Dancing Machine

Dancin' Machine!

Julian Kindred and Amanda Collins wedding. I attended this wedding only knowing the bride and the groom. I ended this wedding tearing it up on the dance floor all night long! I think I danced with everyone at the wedding so by the end of the night I knew more than the couple getting hitched. All I need to have a good time are some cheesy lights, some even cheesier music, and a dance floor. Watch me get down!

Lots of waiting around in an uncomfortable outfit, in a freezing cold club. Probably more nervous because we thought we would completely blank the choreography. These photo's were taken with my new fantastic camera! Yippee! Oh one cool thing about the gig was....they were playing a video on all the screen sin the club from some previous events and I was on the video. Cool. It was a quick shot of me at the end of the catwalk in an emerald green catsuit. OOOOHHH!

New Camera!

After much research, questions, and stress I got my new Digital Camera a Canon Powershot s70. I am extremely excited about it (my new camera)! I have almost read the entire owners manual and used it to capture some moments at a show I did yesterday. Hopefully now i will be able to include better quality and more photo's on my site. Yippee!

I am confused.

I am sorry I have not written in awhile. Ian and I went to Brighton with some friends of ours Martin and Nicola last weekend. Nice little jaunt to the seaside. We had a lovely time shopping and eating and dancing. Then on Monday we went to Arundel and walked up the castle, we didn't go in because the Londoners were not interested in looking in a castle. I guess if you have grown up with it your whole life it feels like school. I wasn't too disappointed since I have seen the Castle before. Ian is away in Germany or Holland I am not sure.
Meanwhile I am trying to pick out a digital camera that one of my friends is going to pick up for me in America. I am having a crazy time deciding on which one to get. Seriously I need to just pick one and be happy. i can't find "The One" I thought i had but then I read the reviews and they are not so good. I will keep searching, but I have to decide by tomorrow. Yikes! I hope I make the right decision. Good night.

Heather in London

I have been trying to figure out how to put up photo's of Heather's trip to see me in London and then I went to her site today and they are all there. So go to Heather's cutie pututie site and check 'em out.

I'm tired....so tired.

Since I have been back in England I am sooooooooo tired. Not sure why. I guess it could be from jet lag, but I have been sleeping a decent amount. Yesterday was the worst. Ian and I spent 6 hours driving around looking at houses and I felt like I had an elephant sitting on my shoulders. My eyelids must have weighed 100 pounds each. Today is better. I managed to get up at before 11:00am and I feel pretty good so far. We found this house in Amersham that is wicked. It is currently on the market to rent, but we are going to inquire about buying it. It was built in the 1930's by a famous architect named Amyas Connell. The house is on http://www.chancellors.co.uk/psearch/fs_psearch.asp?I_mode=R scroll down to Highover Park, Amersham. Hopefully you will be able to see it in all it's coolness. I better get back to work. I still haven't unpacked. Yikes! Our flat is too small to have suitcases in it. I think I have been stalling because my closet is over full and so are my drawers. Guess I will just have to take over more of Ian's closet. Ha! Peace.

Welcome home or welcome back?

We are back in England after the easiest flight ever. Ian slept most of the way and I read and watched movies, very exciting. Our amazing friends Martin and Nicola had been food shopping for us so we would could eat when we got in since it was so late and this is not the land of 24hr anything. I am so tired today, but I have managed to stay up all day. Yeah me! This afternoon I hopped on a train, using my new Oyster card and headed to the studio. I started recording vocals for a new song I am working on. I am now going to go home, eat, and finish watching Bourne Identity. I hope my spelling is better on this blog, I have had some critisism on my attention to mispelled words. Justin I hope you approve.
I am fully missing America and was ready to go back the second I arrived in this dull, grey, cold country. As soon as I hit London I felt better. Somehow the grey skies are more bearable once I am surrounded by the buzz of the city. To add insult to injury though, the two reasons I came back so soon have been cancelled. The Mel C concert and my business class teacher just didn't show so the whole class might be cancelled. I will keep you updated as soon as I know.

I will finish this blog with a big shout out to my best friend Heather. Thank you for my best visit to Tulsa yet. Thanks for organizing the party. And to my family..... I miss you all soooooo much it was awesome to see you.

Family Photo

When I was in Tulsa we went to Stillwater to visit my brother at OSU. This is a photo taken at a pond on campus that a scary, killer swan inhabits. The reason I look so uncomfortable in the photo is I was sure at any moment the killer swan was going to jump out of the water and clamp it's beak full of tiny little teeth onto my leg. Ouch! The swan had mercy on me and my leg was fine. Too bad it ruined the picture. Max and I had fun climbing tree's by the pond.

Family at El Tequila
Originally uploaded by Mizzie.

On Sunday I hung out with my Dad and Sherrie and then stayed at their house that night. It was teh first time I had stayed there, it was pretty exciting. My Dad and I looked online at digital camera's since Ian has said we can buy one while we are in America. I ahve found one and will put up a link next time I post. Max, Melanie, and Grant had lunch with us at El Tequila, my parents favorite place to eat. They eat there sometimes three times a week. The owners have said they are their best customers. We got the royal treatment of specail sample dips and complimetary, yummy soup. The food is fantastic and the best part is my Dad tries to speak in spanish to Haveir the owners brother. It is so cute to watch them try and understand each other. You might have to see it to appreciate it but I thought it was worth writing about.
